Former champions Kenya Prisons returned favor against Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI)3-1(25-15,19-25,25-23,25-210 during the Kenya Volleyball Federation Women’s National League MOP-UP matches at the Nyayo National Stadium outdoor court, Nairobi on Saturday.
DCI had beaten Prisons 3-2 during the last year Kipchumba Karori International event that was held in Eldoret.
It was a sweet revenge for the side coached by former national women’s team assistant coach Josp Barasa which helped them finish in the second position.
Both teams will play in the National League play-offs set to serve off this Friday at the Nyayo gymnasium.
DCI will wrap up the regular season with a tough match against leaders and unbeaten Kenya Pipeline on Sunday at the same venue.
