National Youth Service (NYS) and Mt Kenya Base Yetu volleyball teams will be seeking their first wins of the season when the fourth leg of the Kenya Volleyball Federation men’s National League take center stage on Thursday to Sunday at the Nyayo National Stadium gymnasium and outdoor courts, Nairobi.
NYS who are second from last are winless from six matches, while Base Yetu are winless from eight matches .
The two teams will be out to record wins to survive relegation.
At the end of the regular season, the top two teams in Division Two are promoted to the National League, while the bottom two sides from the top tier are relegated to the second tier .
At the top, reigning champions Kenya Pipeline will be seeking to maintain their top position with26 points from 10 matches, while second-placed and visitors Keya Ports Authority have 24 points from nine matches, wile former champions and unbeaten General Service Unit have 20 points from seven matches.
