Kenya Defence Forces shocked Kenya Prisons 3-1(25-14,23-25,25-16,28-26) during the Kenya Volleyball Federation men’s Kenya Cup at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani indoor arena, Nairobi to continue with their good run in the inaugural event on Sunday.
KDF had beaten Kenya Airport Police Unit 3-1 on Saturday in pool “B” match.
In the other matches played at the same venue, Trailblazers launched their title campaign with a 3-1(25-22,25-23,23-25,2513) win to inflict KAPU to their second loss in the event.
General Service Unit defeated Kenya Army 3-0(25-16,25-16,25-20) in pool “A” to lead the group with six points from two matches.
GSU had won against Equity Bank 3-1 on Saturday.
In the meantime, Equity recovered from Saturday defeat at the hands of GSU to beat Administration Police of Kenya 3-1(25-17,14-25,25-14,25-20).
