Administration Police of Kenya (APK) won the Arthur Odera Open Tournament after defeating Kenya Airports Police Unit (KAPU)3-0(25-22,25-19,25-16) at the Malaba Stadium, Busia County.
In the Colleges and University Category, Strathmre University under Kenya Prisons women’s volleyball team coach Josp Barasa beat Masinde Muliro University 3-0(25-14,25-21,26-24), while Kesogon Secondary School overwhelmed Mwitoti 3-0(25-16,25-10,25-9) in the girls final as Malava High School defeated Namwela Secondary School 3-1(25-23,25-18,26-28,25-18) in the boys’ final.
Among the Kenya Volleyball Federation executive members that attended the two-day event were deputy president Paul Bitok, Treasurer and Busia County chairman Bernard Musumba as well as the Secretary general deputy John Odhiambo.
