Kenya Ports Authority men’s volleyball team arrived in Eldoret on Tuesday morning in time for the inaugural Kipchumba Karori International Volleyball Tournament primed for December 13-15 at the Eldoret National Polytechnic in Uasin Gishu County.
The Coastal side is among the 21 senior clubs that will be part of the three-day local bonanza in the Rift Valley region.
KPA who are second on the League standings with 12 points from five matches are optimistic of a good outing.
Defending champions Kenya Prisons lead the standings with 17 points from six matches.
The tournament’s road show was flagged off on Monday in the presence of Kenya Volleyball Federation president Charles Nyaberi, Deputy president Paul Bitok, Uasin Gishu Branch chairman David Letting.
The draws of the event will be conducted at the Eka Hotel in Eldoret on Thursday at 7pm.
