For the first time, the top four teams at the end of the regular season of Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) 2025/2026 men’s Division Two will play in the play-offs.

Speaking during the meeting SOS Oronje said that the men’s and women’s National League will serve off on November 6-9 and 13-16 with matches expected to be played at the Nyayo National Stadium gymnasium and the Moi International Sports Centre indoor arena in Nairobi.
Oronje also took the time to note that the National League play-offs quarterfinal matches will be played in Mombasa County.
“The women’s matches will be played at the Aga Khan, while the men’s matches will be played at the Makande hall. Also, when a team misses two leg matches, they will be stopped from competing in the league unlike previous seasons where a teams had to miss two consecutive legs to be dropped from League,” said Oronje.
At the end of the regular season, the top eight teams qualify for the playoffs.
Sixteen men and twelve women’s teams will feature in the National League.
KVF president Nyaberi welcomed the new teams that have joined the league and especially A-Plus Motors women’s Volleyball club which will make its maiden appearance in the women’s League.
KVF deputy president Bitok said the draws for the second edition of Kenya Cup will be held on January 9.
KVF Secretary General Chege called on clubs and team officials to follow the right channels during the local and international transfer.
Treasurer Musumba said that clubs that didn’t pay for last season’s registration and participation fee will not be part of the draws and were given two weeks to do so failure to which they will not compete in the League.
Among the men’s clubs that have not paid for the last season are Kenya Forest Service, Nairobi Prisons, and Western Prisons, while Vihiga, Young Spikers, Nairobi Prisons Maranatha were also not drawn in the women’s category.
Mbuthia who is also the Nairobi branch and beach volleyball chairman urged the clubs to invest in the sport saying that the country needs to have players who can only play beach volleyball and not the traditional way where players who play conventional were the same players who play beach volleyball.
