Former Kenyan international Jackline Barasa has been named coach for the forthcoming women’s Africa Nations Volleyball Championship set for August 2-12 in Cameroon.
Barasa is the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) women’s coach team.
The former middle blocker guided he Forces to finish six in the regular season.
Barasa will be assisted Luka Kariuki.
Kenneth Tonui is the team manager while Ismail Chege will be the head of delegation.
Post Bank physiotherapist Bala Conceptor will be the team’s Physio for the 12 -day event.
The team is scheduled to start training on July 22.
