Experienced beach volleyball coach Sammy Mulinge is back in the fold as the Kenya men’s beach coach.
Mulinge will lead the team to the African FIVB 2025 Beach Volleyball World Championship qualifiers that will bring together the continent’s elite beach volleyball talent.
The qualifiers are primed for June 23-30 in Tetouan and Martil in Morocco
Mulinge a former Kenya Ports Authority coach, helped Rwanda Energy Group to beat Sport-s to calim bronze in the fthe Zone Five Clubs Championship in Uganda.
Mulinge who guided the women’s pair of Brackcidise Agala and Gaudencia Makokha to the Country’s first Olympic competition has been out of the team for a while now before being named the coach over the weekend by the Kenya Volleyball Federation executives.
Mulinge replaces Ibrahim Oduor and Patrick Owino who were with the team during the Paris Olympic qualifiers.
Nairobi Prisons men’s volleyball team coach Sally Wanjala will be in charge of the women’s team.
Nairobi Prisons men and women’s team manager Robinson Okoth will be the team manager, while Simon Kibe will be the physiotherapist.
KVF assistant secretary general John Ogara will lead the delegation
