Former champions General Service Unit captain Emmanuel Kogo says despite the paramilitary side having won against Equity Bank
3-1(25-22,25-21,22-25,25-23), their blocking and service department were wanting.
Kogo was speaking after GSU defeated Equity Bank in the ongoing Kenya Volleyball Federation National League men’s semi-final play-offs at the Makande hall, in Mombasa on Friday.
GSU will battle Equity in the return fixture on Saturday.
Should the side coached by Gideon Tarus overpower the bankers then they will proceed to the final primed for next month in Nairobi.
But a win for Equity who are under the stewardship of Patrick Owino will mean the two teams play a decider match on Sunday.
