Defending champions KCB Women’s Volleyball Team and former champions Kenya Pipeline women’s volleyball teams were the first teams to arrive in Mombasa in time for the Kenya Volleyball Federation National League semi-final play-offs set for Friday through to Sunday at the Makande hall, in Mombasa County.
The Oilers and Bankers arrived in the Coastal region on Monday afternoon.
KCB will face off with Kenya Pipeline in one of the semi-final clashes, while Kenya Prisons will play Directorate of Criminal Investigations in another semis.
The event will be played on the best of three series.
The winers in the two semis will book a place in the finals that will be played at the Moi International Sports Centre indoor arena, Nairobi on June 5-8.
The men’s version will see defending champions Kenya Prisons, former champions General Service Unit, newcomers Equity Bank and hosts Kenya Ports Authority square it off for a place in finals.
