Post Bank, Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) and Trailblazers won their respective ranking matches of the Kenya Volleyball Federation men and women’s National volleyball matches at the Nyayo National stadium gymnasium, in Nairobi on Saturday.
Post Bank beat Kenya Army 3-0(25-19,25-18,25-22) while KDF overwhelmed beat Kenya Airport Police Unit (KAPU) (27-25,25-23,25-23) as Trailblazers were awarded a walk over after their opponents Kenya Forest Service failed to honor the match.
KDF women’s team won against Nairobi Prisons 3-0(25-15,25-22,25-20).
KDF will on Sunday play Post Bank for position 5 and 6, while Nairobi Prisons will handle Kenya Army for position seven and eight in the women’s matches.
In the men’s fixture, KDF have a date with Trailblazers for position five and six while KFS and KAPU will face off for position eight and nine.
