National women’s Volleyball team player Sharon Chepchumba says she was keen to share her knowledge with the upcoming players in bid to make them better.
Chepchumba was speaking on Saturday after her mother club KCB Women’s Volleyball Team beat Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) 3-0 (25-10,25-16,25-13) during the ongoing Kenya Volleyball Federation National League play-offs at Nyayo National stadium, gymnasium, in Nairobi on Friday.
Chumba who missed the last Olympics said she will be available for selection ahead of the World Championship set for August 22 to September 7 in Thailand.
“I think for now is to give back to the society with my expertise having played at the highest level. I’m also recovering well and i hope to go back to my former self. If the national team will need my services i readily available,” said the opposite player.
