Kenya women’s volleyball team, Malkia Strikers Saturday succumbed to Germany 0-3 (22-25,8-25,20-25) as the Volleyball Women’s World Championship entered Day-Two in Phuket, Thailand.
Kenya will on Monday take on Poland on Monday before they battle Vietnam on Wednesday.
Veronica Oluoch emerged top scorer with 19 points, with upcoming sensational opposite hitter Terry Tata bagging nine points for the side coached by Geoffrey Omondi.
Lina Alsmeier and Emilia Weske top scored for Germany with 13 points each.
