Kenya under 20 women’s volleyball team swept aside Egypt 3-1(25-21,31-33,25-19,25-21) as the African Nations Championship hit home stretch in Yaoundé, Cameroon on Thursday night.
Once again Marlyn Tata was voted the Player of the Match three times in arow.
Kenya will take on Burundi on Friday.
Kenya has only lost one match against Cameroon, but they have won against Senegal, Uganda and Egypt.
Tata a former Kwanthanze Secondary School player had received similar accolades against Uganda and Senegal in the previous matches.
Tata who plays for KCB Women’s Volleyball Team who remain hot favorite to win the Most Valuable Player when the championship that is acting as the World Championship qualifier will also be available for Kenya women’s volleyball team, Malkia Strikers selection ahead of the 2025 FIVB World Championship in Thailand set for August 22 to September 7.
