It’s just a matter of wait and see as Directorate of Criminal Investigations play Kenya Pipeline in the final of the Kenya Volleyball Federation Women’s National League play-offs at the Moi International Sport Centre indoor arena, Kasarani in Nairobi.
The best of three series will run from Friday through to Sunday.
DCI have been in good form this season after they beat 2022 champions Kenya Pipeline 3-1 during the regular season, before they defied odds to beat Kenya Prisons 3-2 during the semi-final at the Makande hall in Mombasa.
DCI therefore will start favorite, but history will count for nothing and should be wary of Pipeline who have blown hot and cold this season.
Pipeline finished second during the Zone Five African Clubs championship in Uganda earlier this year before they bagged bronze medal during the African Clubs Championship in Nigeria in April and so it’s a team that you cannot wish it away.
Pipeline defeated reigning champions KCB Women’s Volleyball Team 31-1 , while DCI humbled Kenya Prisons 3-2 in the semi-final at Makande hall in Mombasa.
