The promotion race to the Kenya Volleyball Federation Men’s National League will go the wire after the completion of the third leg of Division Two League matches at the Nyayo National stadium, outdoor courts, in Nairobi over the weekend.
There were hits and misses as teams battled for the two slots up for grabs ahead of the promotion.
At the end of the season, the top two teams in the lower tier earn promotion to the National League, while the bottom two teams in the top tier are relegated to the Division Two.
On Sunday, Leaders Eldowas recovered from Saturday defeat at the hands of Beast to beat Simlaw 3-1(25-18,25-17,20-25,25-19), Chema continued with their good run earning a walk over from Lang’ata High School who gave the fixture a wide berth.
Rapid Develpoment Unit (RDU) held their nerves to beat Kenya Navy 3-2(30-28,21-25,15-25,25-19, and 19-17), as Kenya Navy saw off Kenyatta University 3-1(23-25,25-16,25-23,25-22).
