Kenya Pipeline middle blocker Lydia Iswan believes that if they make amends in the blocking and rebound, then the Oilers will seal a slot in the finals set for next month at Kasarani indoor arena, in Nairobi.
Iswan spoke after Pipeline came from a set down to beat defending champions KCB Women’s Volleyball Team 3-1 (14-25,25-16,25-18,25-23) during the Kenya Volleyball Federation Women’s National League semi-finals play-offs at Makande hall, in Mombasa on Friday. “We have an advantage having won today’s match 3-1. We just need to improve on our blocking and rebound, and we will be good to go,” said Iswan
.Pipeline needs to win against KCB on Saturday to qualify for the play-offs failure to which they will have to play a decider match on Sunday at the same venue. The competition is being played in the best of three format.
