After having a shaky regular Kenya Volleyball Federation National League, experienced Kenya Prisons opposite player Micheal Chemos was hopefulof a better ending.
Chemos said they have always risen up at their worst and said the script will not change this time round.
Kenya Prisons, who are the defending champions, will play Kenya Ports Authority in one of the semi-finals, while former champions General Service Unit will battle Equity Bank in another show down at the Makande hall, in Mombasa County.
“We have not been at our best this season and this can be attributed to the fact that some of our key players in Elphas Makuto and Dennis Esokon are away in Rwanda for professional stints. But all the same, we have managed to perform well and that’s why we are in the last four. We are aware all the teams have improved and have good players who will be keen to see us relinquish our league title, but we are not ready to let go,” said the Kenya international.
“We are going to take one match at a time, and we are hopeful of qualifying for the finals set for next month in Nairobi, “added Chemos.
