General Serice Unit (GSU) was the third team to arrive in the Mombasa ahead of the Kenya Volleyball Federation National League semi-final play-offs at Makande hall, in Mombasa County that serves off on Friday through to Sunday.
GSU joined KCB Women’s Volleyball Team and Kenya Pipeline who had arrived in the coastal region on Monday.
Former champions GSU captain Shadrack Misiko said,” We want to reclaim the trophy we last won in 2023 and that’s why we arrived in Mombasa on Tuesday to acclimatize. We are ready for the competition and let’s see how it goes,”
The paramilitary side will be in company of defending champions Kenya Prisons, Equity Bank and hosts Kenya Ports Authority in the last four event.
GSU will play Equity Bank in one of the semi-finals, while KPA will play host to defending champions Kenya Prisons.
The competition will be played in the best of three series.
The women’s action has KCB, Pipeline, Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Kenya Prisons.
