Kenya Forest Service (KFS) coach Wachira Gatuiria says they could have won the match against Kenya Prisons during the Kenya Volleyball Federation National League play-offs at the Moi International Sports centre indoor arena, Kasarani in Nairobi on Friday.
Gatuiria said they failed to make a side out when it mattered a development t that cost them the match.
KFS lost toe Prisons 3-2(25-18,25-16,34-32,26-24 and 13-15).
“We were in the comfortable lead in most of the sets but we failed to bag points when it mattered. It’s sad but we hope to recover in time for Saturday match and hopefully we will get it right,” said the tactician.
In the other matches played at the same venue, General Service Unit beat Kenya Airport Police Unit (KAPU) 3-0(25-19,25-20,25-17) while Kenya Defence Forces dismissed Equity Bank 3-0(25-23,17-25,25-20,25-19) as visiting Kenya Ports Authority routed Trailblazers 3-0(25-19,25-16,25-22).
