It’s not business as usual as the Kenya Pipeline seeks to reclaim the Kenya Volleyball Federation women’s National League play-offs that get’s underway at the Nyayo National stadium gymnasium, Nairobi on Friday.
Pipeline will take on Nairobi Prisons in the first match of the day at 9am in the event that will be played in the Best of Three Series.
Omondi said losing to DCI 3-1 in their last match on the season was a wake-up call saying it was not going to be business as usual.
“DCI is a tough team and they have just proven that by winning against us . We have gone back to the drawing board and i believe the work we have put in the training will pay off. We are going to give our all and hopefully we will reclaim the trophy we last won in 2022,”said Omondi who is also the Malkia Strikers coach.
Omondi who crossed over to Oilers from Trailblazers this season took over the baton from experienced Japheth Munala.
Oliers finished third in recently ended African Clubs Championship in Abuja, Nigeria.
Zamalek and Al Ahly both from Egypt finished first and second positions respectively .
