Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) women’s Volleyball team coach Patrick Sang says they are inspired by win 3-1 against Kenya Pipeline as they head into the Kenya Volleyball Federation National League play-offs that spikes off on Friday through to Sunday at the Nyayo National stadium, Nairobi.
DCI shocked pre-match favourite Pipeline i\last Sunday during the regular season match at Nyayo stadium although all teams still qualified for the play-offs after both teams finished in the top eight teams at the end of the regular season.
Sang said, “This is a timely win and boost ahead of the play-offs. It has given the players and technical bench the confidence to push through, and we intend to go all the way and for the first time finish at the podium. I believe we have what it takes to go for the title,”said Sang,a former General Service Unit player.
“We want to thank the management for the support and believe they have given the team and we can only hope for the best in the play-offs and carry the recent form into the last eight,” he added.
DCI will play Post Bank at the Nyayo National stadium gymnasium, Nairobi on Friday at 1pm.
