Kenya Pipeline women’s volleyball team was set to jet out of the country on Tuesday morning at 3am ahead of the African Clubs Championship set for April 1-14 in Abuja, Nigeria.
Pipeline who bagged a bronze medal during the last edition that was held in Egypt will be in the company of local rivals and Kenya Volleyball Federation National League Champions KCB Women’s Volleyball Team and Kenya Prisons.
Setter Faith Imodia will be making her maiden appearance at the annual event.
She will jostle for a starting line against Emmaculate Nekesa who did duty for the Oilers last year together with Rose Magoi.
At the same time, coach Geoffrey Omondi who crossed over from Trailblazers men’s team will also make a debut at the championship.
