Four local Kenya Coaches have thrown their hats in the ring for the Kenya women’s volleyball team, Malkia Strikers coaching role ahead of the World Championship in Thailand.
The event will be held on Augast 22 to September 7
The four are current and KCB Women’s Volleyball Team coach Japheth Munala,FIVB instructor and Mpesa Foundation Academy coach Cathrine Mabwi, Kenya Pipeline women’s team coach Geoffrey Omondi and Nairobi Water coach John Mwaniki.
The four underwent interviews last Saturday at the KVF secretariat at the Athletics Kenya office, Nairobi.
The panel is expected to give their recommendations on Friday to the KVF executives who are scheduled to meet on Saturday to discuss the recommendations among other things.
KVF deputy president Paul Bitok said they executives will meet to discuss the recommendations from the panel and make a decision during the meeting or at a later date.
