Eight men’s teams have qualified for the men’s Kenya Volleyball Federation Kenya Cup quarter-final matches scheduled for June 21-22 after the completion of matches at the Moi Internationmal Sports Centre indoor arena, Kasarani, Nairobi.
The eight teams are General Service Unit, Kenya Ports Authority, Equity Bank and Administrative Police of Kenya who formed pool “A”, while Kenya Defence Forces, Kenya Prisons, Trailblazers and Kenya Airport Unit who form pool “B”.
The teams will muscle for the title and a cash price.
Kenya Army and Chema Steel failed to make the final Cut.
In the ladies’ teams, Kenya Pipeline, KCB Women’s Volleyball team, Kenya Defence Forces and Kenya Amy all proceeded to the last eight, while Kenya Prisons, Directorate of Criminal Investigations, and Postbank, qualified for the knocj-out stage.
