Defending champions KCB Women’s Volleyball Team clash against unbeaten Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Thursday at 3pm will be the highlight of t the fourth leg of the Kenya Volleyball Federation National League at the Nyayo National Stadium gymnasium, Nairobi.
The two sides met last December during the Kipchumba Karori International Volleyball Tournament in Eldoret in the final, but it was the bankers who won 3-1.
DCI have in recent times pushed KCB to the wall and it remains to be seen how they will navigate this time round.
DCI are third unbeaten with 12 points from four matches, while the bankers are fourth with 11 points from five matches.
Kenya Pipeline who fresh from participating in the just ended CAVB Zone V Clubs Championship in Uganda lead the standings with 16 points from six matches, while Kenya Prisons are second with15 points from the same number of matches.
At the bottom end, Lipalikes and Nairobi Prisons will be seeking to record their first wins of the season when they battle their respective opponents.
Nairobi Prisons who are second with one point from four matches have a date with Kenya Army, while Lipalikes who are pegged bottom winless from three matches take on Post Bank in one of the five fixtures lined up.
