Defending champions KCB Women’s Volleyball Team defeated Directorate of Criminal Investigations 3-1(25-15,22-25,25-13,25-19) in the Kenya Volleyball Federation Women’s National League match at the Nyayo National Stadium gymnasium, Nairobi on Thursday.
KCB moved to third position with14 points from six matches, while DCI were relegated to fourth position with 12 points from five matches.
Leaders, Kenya Pipeline were awarded a walk over after their opponents Maranatha failed to honor the tie and now have 19 points from seven matches as second-placed and former champions Kenya Prisons have 18 points from the same number of matches.
In the other results, Kenya Prisons defeated Kenya Defence Forces 3-0(25-14,25-22,25-20), while Post Bank overwhelmed Young Spykers 3-0(25-6,25-8,25-9) as Nairobi Prisons came from a set down to beat Kenya Army 3-2(15-25,26-24,25-23,16-25, and 19-17).
