Coast Prisons made a bright start in the league beating Kenyatta University 3-1(25-16,22-25,25-17,25-9) in the Kenya Volleyball Federation men’s Division Two League at the Nyayo National Stadium outdoor court in Nairobi, on Friday.
At the same time, Kenya Navy surrendered a one set lead to succumb to Eldowas 3-1(25-22,21-15,21-25,21-25) as Chema Volleyball Club labored to win against Kenya Airforce 3-2(25-23,22-25,21-25,25-20 and 15-9).
Lang’ata Hih School lost to Simlaw Seeds 3-0(25-19,25-15,25-20)
On other hand, Deaf Volleyball team, and Coast Prisons were awarded walk overs after their opponents failed to honor the matches.
Coast Prisons were to play Engineers, while deaf was to line up against Microspikers in another encounter.
