Former champions Kenya Prisons came from a set down to overwhelm defending champions KCB Women’s Volleyball Team 3-2(15-25,25-16,20-25,25-11 and 15-13) in an entertaining Kenya Volleyball Federation Women’s National league at the full packed Nyayo National Stadium, gymnasium Nairobi on Sunday.
Prisons had defeated KCB 3-1 during the Mwalimu Kahiga Tournament early this month in Nyeri.
With the outcome, Prisons reigned supreme over the the bankers.
Earlier on, Kenya Pipeline had come from a set down to beat Kenya Defence Forces 3-1(23-25,25-3,25-14,25-16) while Post Bank held their nerves to see off a determined Nairobi Prisons 3-2(25-23,20-25,25-23,25-27,15-10).
