The players who had been beaten by Maranatha 3-0(25-21,25-16,25-19) during the second leg of the Kenya Volleyball Federation National League at the Nyayo National Stadium outdoor volleyball court on Friday, took the chance to take photos and had a chit chat with the experienced and reliable Kenya Pipeline middle blocker.
Atuka was part of the team that had labored to beat defending champions KCB Women’s Volleyball Team 3-2 in the last match of the three-Day event.
Jane Mbacu, cheekly told Atuka,”We always see you on television and You tube, we are happy we’ve gotten the chance to see you and watch you play today. It’s such a honor. We are excited and happy. We look upto you, you are our role model,”said Mbacu.
Atuka encouraged saying ,”The fact that you have registered in the League and you are playing that’s the most important thing. Continue pushing and learn along the way, who knows, in future you might be playing like me or even much better, but tha ultinate destination should be the national team, Malkia Strikers<
