Former champions Kenya Prisons tackle Post Bank in the second match of the Kenya Volleyball Federation women’s National league that serves off Friday through to Sunday at the Nyayo Natioanl Stadium gymnasium, Nairobi.
Prisons reckons that they’ve put in countless hours of practice, sweat, and dedication, and now the moment they’’ve been preparing for was finally here.
“It’s all about showcasing our teamwork, perseverance, and passion for the game. As we step onto the court, we carry with us the support of each other and the lessons we’ve learned along the way. No matter the outcome, this journey has already made us stronger as a team and as individuals” read a post in one of the Prisons social handles.
Prisons will then handle Maranatha on Saturday before they battle KCB Women’s Volleyball Team on Sunday.
The side coached by Josp Barasa are fourth on the standings with four points from two matches played.
Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Kenya Army lead the standings unbeaten with six points each from two matches each played played but DCI have better set ratio.
Kenya Pipeline complete the top three positions with five points from two matches.
