The script has not changed for Vihiga Volleyball club as they appeal for sponsorship.
Vihiga who were forced to skip last season’s Kenya Volleyball Federation National League due to financial constraints, begun competing in Division Two that ended on Sunday at the Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi and all was not rosy.
“Things have not changed. We are still struggling to support this team that has the potential to return to the top tier. We are therefore reaching out to well wishers, people of good will and companies to come on board and support these players,” said team’s coach Samuel Mugata.
“We are however going out of our way to ensure we honour our fixtures. We are not ready to give out walk overs,” he addded.
