Kenya Navvy overwhelmed Vihiga Volleyball Team 3-0(
25-22,25-16,25-22) as the Kenya Volleyball Federation men’s Division Two League got underway at the Nyayo National Stadium outside court, Nairobi on Friday.
Vihiga who have previously participated in the National League before, are making a come back in the second tier after they missed last season due to financial constraints.
Vihiga will battle Chemasteel Volleyball Club on Saturday in their second match, while Kenya Navvy have a date with Deaf Volleyball Team.
Vihiga coach Samuel Mugata said the players begun the match on high but later let lose along the way.
“It’s the first match but we pick positives and hopefully we will bounce back in the our next matches,” said Mugata.
