Ugandan sides Kampala Amateur Volleyball Club (KAVC) and Nemostar are the first International clubs to confirm participation in the forthcoming Karori International Tournament set for December 13-15 at the Eldoret National Polytechnic grounds.
Rwandese sides have also shown interest in the three-day event that promises to showcase incredible talent from around the world.
Evebt coordinator, Kenya Volleyba Federation Deputy President Paul Bitok confirmed that the Ugandan sides have already confirmed registration saying the development have already given the event an international feel.
“It’s just a matter of time before we know which Rwanda clubs will be part of the event. The fact that clubs from across the region have already shown interest is a timely boost,” observed Bitok.
“I also did inspection of the venue where the draws will be conducted on December 12 at the Eka hotel in Eldoret, and all is set. We call on the local clubs to start registering in time,” he added.
